Hello, my name is Ann Widmann. I am the
proprietor of Arizona Image Is..., which offers
freelance writing/ photography, web site design,
editing and desktop publishing of items ranging from
brochures to tabloids.
AZ Image Is... can help you nail that corporate
report, create your newsletter or photograph your
events. My proficiency in page layout (InDesign &
QuarkXPress), word processing and photography (PhotoShop)
ensures that you will walk away satisfied with a
quality product.
Now that
I've resumed my position as director of Arizona
Image Is...,
let
me tap into
my
20-plus years of media experience to assist you.
I formed my company in 1996 but put it on hold while
working as a fulltime journalist.
From May 2002 until September 2006, I was editor of
the Navajo-Hopi Observer. For the four
and a half |
|
years prior to that,
I was
editor of the Williams-Grand Canyon News, a
sister publication of the Observer.
My
history in community weekly journalism spans more
than two decades starting in 1987 with the
Independent chain in Chandler, Ariz. Before taking
the job in Williams, Ariz., I was public relations
assistant at Cochise College in Douglas, Ariz.
I
was born and raised in Louisville, Ky., and
graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts
in English literature from Bellarmine University in
Louisville.
I
have two grown daughters, one in the Lake Tahoe
area, and the other resides in Silver Spring, Md.,
along with her husband and two children.
Although I have lived in the West since 1977, I will
always think of Kentucky as home. My husband and I
currently reside in Bisbee, Ariz.
