. a photography and communications business based in Arizona,
offers
freelance writing and photography, copy editing, web building and
desktop publishing of items including newsletters, pamphlets, tabloids
and books.
Ann Widmann,
proprietor of Arizona Image Is... has more than 28 years
journalism experience under her belt. Over the years, she has
garnered several awards for her reporting, photography
and page
design.
In October
2006, Widmann resumed her
position as director of Arizona Image Is ... which

specializes in photography and
communications.
Prior to this,
Widmann
was editor of the
Navajo-Hopi Observer from May 2002 until September 2006.
From September 1997 until May 2002,
Widmann was editor of the
Williams-Grand Canyon News, a sister publication of the
Observer.
Widmann's
history in community journalism stretches over three decades starting
in 1987 with the Independent chain in Chandler, Ariz. followed by jobs at
several weeklies in Cochise County.
Before joining Western
Newspapers, Widmann was public relations assistant at Cochise College in
Douglas, Ariz.
